Black High Heels, Timeless & Classic
Sometimes I think I’m a shoeaholic. Other times I know I am!
For some reason I’m always drawn to the shoe section in any store, whether it be Nordstrom’s or good old Target.
So the other day I popped into Target to buy a Valentine’s card for my hubby. Cards are situated to the right of the store, shoes to the left. So, of course straight off to the left I headed go take a wee look at what was new in.
Well, as luck would have it, a pair of black open toe heels with a slim ankle strap winked at me.
I tried them on, because it would have felt rude not to and low and behold decided there and then I really needed them. Funnily enough, before I walked into the store black strappy high heels weren’t even on my radar.
You know how that goes, right?
I just love how the heel is high but still walkable and actually relatively comfortable too.
Easy to dress up or down and timeless enough that they can stay in my closet for more than one season.
Need vs Want
So, if like me your in the market for a pair of shoes you may not have realized you really need, I highly recommend these.
They’re faux leather and actually look much more expensive than they are.
They cost about $30 and for some reason I cannot find them on Target’s website…but I won’t give up, I’ll keep looking until they appear and then I’ll update this post.
I’m pretty sure they’re new stock because they weren’t on sale or reduced and I’d never seen them on my previous, multiple, visits!
I feel a tad disappointed that I’m not able to link this pair for you, however I did find a very similar pair of Steve Madden’s at Nordstrom that are worth checking out too. They’re around $80.
If you’re in the market for a much higher end pair, these shoes by Stuart Weitzman are absolutely gorgeous too.
I do love and appreciate good quality shoes. But for something like a little strappy black pair, I’m happy with these ones from Target.
They’re ideal for date nights at the very least and I’m going to be purrrty happy with the cost per wear.
Happy shoe shopping.
