Leopard Shoes Sassy, Not Trashy
Prints As Neutrals
Believe it or not, I consider leopard print to be a neutral.
To me, animal print shoes make a great accent for an otherwise neutral outfit. The more monochromatic the look, the greater the accent shoes or accessories pop.
So, I was very happy, to find a pair of leopard print court shoes that didn’t have a sky scraper heel! The style is Gayle, by Calvin Klein and they really are a very comfortable pump shoe.
I liked this pair in particular because they are darker than many cheetah print shoes out there. My preference is for the more tan, brown and black combo vs the creamier, lighter tone on some others I’ve seen.
These shoes can be dressed up, or worn casually, and easily transition an outfit from day to night. What’s not to love.
They look just as great with smart trousers as they do with denim or ripped jeans and transition from season to season seamlessly.
A bit like the faux fur coat I have, I always feel a bit more edgy when I wear these shoes, or any leopard print accessory actually. Seems to bring out my inner rock chick. And I must admit, I’m glad to discover she’s still in there, somewhere…haha.
Would love to hear what item in your wardrobe brings out the sassier side of your personality.
