When I was younger, having kids wasn’t on the cards for me. So these days I don’t spend much time in the company of younger peeps.
This means there’s no millennial in our house to keep me on track and say things like, “Did you know…there’s an app for that!”.
This works for me, because I’m curious and love to learn and keep current on most things. So, keeping up to date on fashion, technology and the likes is fun for me!
However, occasionally I think it would have been lovely to have a daughter. And if I did, I would have been absolutely delighted to have one like the very successful UK blogger, Emma Hill.
She is simply adorable and I enjoy following her blog EJStyle, YouTube channel and Instagram feed. She totally inspires me to have confidence and ‘go for it’ with regard to blogging and social media. (Emma, if you’re reading this, I hope you take that as a compliment 🙂 )
I love her drive, hard work and dedication to her chosen career. She’s getting paid for being herself and sharing what she loves. She works with her husband, Simon (and her 5 chihuahuas) and they’re a good duo. I love their dry sense of humor.
If you’re interested in checking Emma and Simon out, the video above is the story of how they met. It’s not the usual”Q&A” conversational video, it took time to create and it’s funny!
One of the many things I admire about lots of younger people is how talented they are at leveraging social media. They’re entrepreneurial and maximize this to benefit their chosen career and lifestyle. No Corporate humdrum for them, I love that.
Let me know who you love to follow on Social Media? I’d love to check them out too.
Glow with the flow,
