Oversized Boyfriend Blazer
Fall 2017 saw the comeback, in pretty a big way, of the boyfriend jacket blazer and personally, I love it!
It’s fair to acknowledge, that this may be a passing ‘fashion’ phase, and therefore quick to die out.
However, the women’s boyfriend blazer just might be here to stay, because it really is a classic, hence the longevity of the Balmain, the ‘much sought after’ investment blazer!
Either way, from high end fashion houses, all the way to High Street friendly Target, it’s easy to invest in a blazer.
For this wardrobe staple, I chose to spend my money at good old ‘Target.’ Partly because, living in casual Southern California, I don’t have too much opportunity to wear one.
But, it is something I want to keep in my wardrobe to wear with casual/jeans looks and smarter pants, too.
Plus, Target is always on point for ‘fast’ fashion trends and wardrobe staples, and they’re usually very well made, for their price point.
Not surprisingly, on this occasion, Target did not disappoint.
The blazer I’m wearing was a bit hit on Instagram and best seller, too. It cost less than $35! You just can’t beat that and the quality is great.
Unfortunately, this long boyfriend blazer is now out of stock. However, I did find some alternatives that I think are worth checking out:
- Mango Prince of Wales Blazer
Gorgeous/timeless! I think I might add this to my Wish List! - Zara
- Balmain
This is an expensive option that will always be in style. If you wear a blazer often, factoring in cost per wear, this could be a smart investment.
This women’s long boyfriend blazer is classic and stylish.
I would love to hear from you about any blazer, high street to high end, purchases you’d recommend.
Please feel welcome to share, it’s always great to connect with you online.
Glow with the flow,
Bren xo
